On behalf of everyone at VELUX and the customers at our final event of the VELUX 5 OCEANS race week, I want to thank you and the Super Deluxe band for a great time.
Our goal from the beginning was to create a fun event for our customers. Our only problem was that we are not from the Charleston area and did not know any bands to pick. Charleston Place was helpful but not when it came to picking a band. My wife searched you guys out on the web site and heard your music online and said this is the one.
Super Deluxe was very engaging and able to come up with a large variety of music that appealed to our group. We had a combination of large company presidents, wives, buyers, architects, builders and remodelers all of ages from 25 to 60. Everyone had a very good time and enjoyed the variety of beach, 70‘s, 80‘s music and some new songs. The quality of the singing and the band was very good.
I would tell other Presidents, if you want a very good music group to entertain your customers in a fun and casual way, Super Deluxe is the band for you. The setting at the Cotton Dock was great, the band played for a long period of time, and the quality and variety of the music was perfect.
I had a personal challenge to meet as my Europe President had a band in October in France. His was exceptional. My goal was to have one of equal quality. We achieved that goal with Super Deluxe. Normally you have to “push” people to get them on the dance floor. After dinner, you guys had them going from song #2.

I wish I could give this amazing ensemble ten stars or more! When my fiance proposed, I knew that there were only a few things we would need in order for a good-time wedding; my family, friends, drinks, and a rocking band! Super Deluxe was everything I had dreamed of and more! My fiance’s parents said that their friends were out on the floor dancing for the first time in 20 years! We had ages of all kinds out there and the dance floor was packed! Wilton did a phenomenal job of mixing the songs – and each one was perfectly played! I still have friends coming up to me or getting in touch just to say how awesome Super Deluxe was and that they were the best party band they’ve ever heard!! My favorite thing about Super Deluxe is that they will learn a special piece of music just for you, and they did just that. The wife and I (along w/ my 2 year old twin boys) made the trip to Asheville, NC not too long ago to attend my cousin’s wedding. Super Deluxe was headlining the reception. Now, full disclosure, I’ve known Wil since elementary school – we grew up together – but have been out of touch for several years. I did not expect to see him there, but what I really did not expect was how good this band was, and how much fun everyone at the reception had listening to them play (from 2 year old boys to 80 year old grandparents and especially all in between). The broad spectrum of sounds and songs, ranging from James Taylor to Parliament really kept things going. These guys really put on a show.

We went to see Super Delux for the first time at Rockin’ at the Point…it was a blast. Soulful, entertaining music by a group of musicians that clearly love what they’re doing on stage. Super Deluxe performed at our wedding reception in November 2009 at The Pavilion at Patriot’s Points. We could not have asked for a better, more energetic or skilled band. They take the time to learn special requests before the event. They know how to ease into the night and gradually raise the energy and keep it up throughout the reception — after a 7 hour reception our dance floor was still packed at the end of the night! From the very start our experience was Super Deluxe was just fantastic. Anyone that has planned a destination wedding knows that it can be an arduous and somewhat daunting task. However, for the months leading up to our December wedding I always felt completely at ease working with Wilton to prepare for our wedding reception. I was extremely impressed with his professionalism & organization. For example, about 6 weeks before our big day Wilton sent me a “Reception Sheet” which was a detailed outline of our entire reception. This gave me great peace of mind as I was confident that every minute of our wedding reception was planned out to run as smoothly as possible. Wilton & Super Deluxe even offered to learn a few new songs specifically for our reception which was awesome! To say that Super Deluxe exceeded our expectations on the day of our wedding would be a gross understatement. I literally got chills when I first heard the band warming up and starting to play one of our requests – a Talking Heads song. Super Deluxe got our friends & family on their feet from the very start and they had EVERYONE dancing.
One of my favorite moments captured from the evening is seeing my grandparents out on the dance floor with huge smiles on their faces. To please everyone in a crowd seems like an impossibility, but I’d be lying if I said that Super Deluxe did anything but that. Our college friends, our cousins, our aunts, uncles, parents, grandparents – everyone at our reception was really having a blast. One of our friends even told us after the wedding that they heard some people talking in the bathroom that this was the best wedding band they have ever heard!! When discussing what kind of reception we wanted to have, my husband and I were unanimous in that decision. We wanted a party – and a party is what we got! My husband & I are so grateful to Wilton & the rest of Super Deluxe for truly making our wedding day exceptional.

Super Deluxe performed at our wedding reception and I could not asked for a better performance !The music was perfect! The dance floor was packed all night long!! I would recomend them to everyone for any occassion for sure!!
