Are you available for my event? What is your availability?

A: Our availability can be viewed by visiting the band’s Calendar page. If a performance is already listed on our calendar, then that means we are already booked and unavailable. If you don’t see a performance date listed on our calendar, then that means we are most likely available to play for you. Feel free to contact us at that time, before someone else does, so we can share with you our rates and talk details.

How much do you charge for private events like wedding receptions and corporate parties?

A: Rates for Super Deluxe appearances vary greatly depending your goals for your event. Please visit our page that outlines our professional music services, send us an email, and describe in detail your goals for your event based on our available features so we can design a custom-built package to fit both your dreams and your budget.

How can I book your band for my event?

A: The first step in booking Super Deluxe for your event is to visit the Contact page and provide us with the requested information. We’ll need to know the event date, time, duration, location, and type (wedding reception, corporate event, private party, Greek social, etc.) to move things forward.

Is a deposit required to book your band for my private event? If so, how much?

A: Yes. In addition to a signed contract, a security deposit is required to reserve Super Deluxe for your event. The event deposit is determined on a case by case basis.

What kind of music do you play?

A: Super Deluxe performs any kind of music you want to hear. We do a wide range of all-ages dance music including funk, R&B, shag, rock, pop, and hip hop in addition to jazz and acoustic music. Click here for a small sample of our popular dance party music.

Is the song list on your website your entire song list?

A: No. Our song list is merely a small sample of the music we play. Super Deluxe can play anything.

Are you willing to perform special request songs at my event?

A: Yes we certainly are! Super Deluxe would love to learn and play live special requests for your private event. Visit our Professional Music Services page for more information about special requests.

Where can I see your band live?

A: While we mostly appear at private events, there is an occasional public gig where you can see us live. Check out our gig calendar here to see some of the best live music in Charleston.

How many band members are in Super Deluxe?

A: The size of the band fluctuates depending on the event. We can appear as a 3-piece all the way up to a 10-piece or bigger if need be. Super Deluxe provides entertainment that is made to order.

How far from Charleston are you willing to travel?

A: Generally, the band is willing to travel within a 2-hour radius of Charleston: Beaufort, Columbia, Hilton head, Myrtle Beach, Savannah, and other points in between. However we are willing to travel further for the right event.

Can you play my iPod over the sound system while the band is on break?

A: Well do even better than that. Included in your private event rate is a custom DJ set per your liking. Super Deluxe will be happy to bring all the music you want to hear, so you can leave your iPod and mixed CDs at home!

Can you play my wedding ceremony?

A: We sure can. Let us know your goals and we will be happy to assist with either playing pre-recorded music or putting together live arrangements for your wedding ceremony. Just let us know what you have in mind.

Do you provide your own sound equipment?

A: Yes, Super Deluxe will provide the necessary sound equipment for your event.

Do I or does the venue need to provide a stage?

A: The band requires a flat performance surface regardless of the location. If the performance is indoors, then a stage is not required but preferred if the room is particularly large. If the band is performing outdoors, then both a stage and covered tent are required.

Can I and my guests get up on stage and dance with the band? Do you come down into the audience?

A: Yes, and yes!

May we purchase an audio or video recording of your performance for a keepsake?

A: Yes. For an additional price, Super Deluxe will be happy to provide you with a high quality audio and video recording the entire performance as a memento of your event.
