First Dance Songs from Super Deluxe’s 2010 Wedding Receptions

by the band on December 21, 2010

The first dance songs are a big deal at any wedding reception.

These songs are usually chosen carefully by the bride and groom and are typically the special requests that Super Deluxe gets for these special events. Most of the time we play these songs live. However, on a rare occasion, we have to play a recording of the song or a close friend of the wedding party will perform.

The following is a complete list of the first dance songs that Super Deluxe performed live at wedding receptions in 2010.

  • “Carolina in My Mind” by James Taylor
  • “Crazy Love” by Van Morrison
  • “Forever Young” by Rod Stewart
  • “Have I Told You Lately” by Van Morrison

  • “I’m Yours” by Jason Mraz
  • “In A Sentimental Mood” by Duke Ellington
  • “It’s All Right” by The Impressions
  • “Lost in This Moment” by Big & Rich
  • “Make You Feel My Love” by Bob Dylan
  • “Mustang Sally” by Wilson Pickett
  • “Sweet Baby James” by James Taylor
  • “What a Wonderful World” by Louis Armstrong
  • “Wonderful Tonight” by Eric Clapton
